They show's will happen I'm just bummed at the thought only west coast things may go down. Perry has been in the studio quite a bit lately. To put my source in perspective he told me a couple months ago that Perry, Bob Weir, And Harrisons kid cut a ep's worth of Cream cover songs and I haven't seen or heard about other than a twitter pick. But he knows some of those guys for sure. I'm being overly hopeful as well...
they have been sitting on leftover pfp tunes for decades now. sounds like due to popular demand they are cutting those tunes. with any luck they will keep it simple and since pfp is more perrys current vocal range .. there is a better than usual chance this could come out good .. i will also note that pfp played vt .. unlike janes .. banyan did as well .. so maybe just maybe we could beg them to hit the east coast a bit as well ..
But having seen Pete's photos lately and seeing everyone all excited for new tunes, I'm been getting damn pumped myself. Listened to the self-titled record last week and GGU this week.
I hope this turns out and we get a record by year's end. And I'm sure this band will never be a full-time thing, but if they do a few east coast shows, or even just New York, I will surely be there for the one-and-done opportunity.

I would be curious if Pete would tell us if this will be a kettle whistle type release .. a comp of hardcharger, a little sadness, dominator, tonight, cook the rice, satelite of love, little me, aqua, and a few other rarities. streets on fire ...
I love Porno fer Pyros ....I think it's a perfect thing for Perry to put his head into...Seems like Pete would be such a cool person to bounce ideas off of..open minded....Just a sweet person to explore sounds with...might open places in Perry'z head to move forward with Jane's as well....I love the idea of organic smashed against digital recklessness ...Dynamics....Raw and Effected together......That idea makes me wanna play with my lil studio and go manic bipolar....Carpenters meet Mr. Bungle...a Prozac moment ....never stay in one spot till yer bored....shake it up
This is great news, if true. The first I've heard of it, personally. Shows would be cool, but if they actually put an album out, that would be stellar. Who's going to be playing bass, though? Mike Watt? Flea?

Eh, not a huge Watt fan. He was my least favorite of the three (LeNoble, Flea, Watt) to play with them. Too bad Perry and LeNoble can't reconcile their differences. Perry seems to have "a way" with his bass players.
It is pretty calm on the porno front, from what i see.
I thought we would have some exiting news by the end of the year but it seems that there is no reunion tour scheduled, nor album or what so ever.
So what do we have to expect ? Just another best of with two extra tracks, Perry focusing on electro bullshit, wardrobe, haircut and teeth adjustments while JA's sleeping tight ?
