Hi scabdates, I know they did a date or two with Velvet Revolver while in the UK.
I haven't heard / found much about who will be supporting them here in the States.
All I've come across is this article.
Looks like the opening band is a band called Mink.
Here's the article.
Mink Set To Return To Canada On Perry Farrell's Satellite Party Tour

TORONTO, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Avex Trax) - American/Australian rock band Mink are in awe of the opportunities handed to them lately opening for rock legends KISS and joining an extensive North American tour with Perry Farrell's Satellite Party, which will see them back in Canada for dates in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
I grew up listening to Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros, so it's unreal to think that we're going to be sharing the stage with Perry Farrell, says charismatic Mink frontman Neal Carlson. I have visions of hanging out after the shows and jamming on some acoustic tunes!!!!

My head nearly explodes every time I think of our upcoming tour with the Satellite Party, says drummer Stella Mozgawa. We had the pleasure of watching the band perform and meeting them at SXSW earlier this year and I can't wait to watch them, learn from them and feel inspired by them every night.

The ride is just beginning for this group as their debut self titled album is set to be released in August in the U.S. and in Canada soon after. Their debut single 'Talk To Me' is already spinning on over 50 Alternative and Modern rock stations across the US, high profile magazines such as Spin are singing their praises (Minks five-member formula churns out powerful pop-rock with gritty undertones) and they are now a featured artist of the week on myspace http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music with almost 30,000 plays yesterday alone.

“The band is touring with Satellite Party until October and “the thought of being on the road with Perry for this long is something I'm still digesting,” says bass player Grant Fitzpatrick. “I'm convinced we will all be different people at the end of this tour.” Although the tour is mostly in the U.S.; the band is excited to be hitting some Canadian cities both on their own before the tour starts and with the Party.”

We've been blessed with the best summer any band could ask for. In a week we leave for Canada, it's our first time playing Canada, continues Carlson and we've already met a couple hundred friends up there through myspace. Any time you go somewhere new, it's exciting.

I can't wait to play some Canadian cities, excites Mozgawa, I'm planning to sleep in a tub full of maple syrup to celebrate!

moe: Farrell for Adams
MOE.DOWN LINEUP CHANGE:
PERRY FARRELL'S SATELLITE PARTY IS IN - RYAN ADAMS IS OUT

(Turin, NY) -- While moe. regrets to announce that Ryan Adams & The Cardinals have canceled their appearance at moe.down for personal reasons, moe. is very proud to announce the addition of Perry Farrell's Satellite Party. Farrell, the former Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros frontman and Lollapalooza founder, is a welcomed addition to the moe.down lineup.

"We are thrilled to have Perry Farrell's Satellite Party on board for moe.down," says moe.'s Al Schnier. "Jane's Addiction was a huge influence when moe. first got together. Jane's had a unique way of taking heavy alternative music and making it very psychedelic. And of course, Perry's Lollapalooza was very influential on us. While moe.down is on a different scale & perspective, the vibe is the same - music, camping, vendors, non-profits, a kids tent & parade - all borne out of our experiences as fans of Lollapalooza."

The Eighth Annual moe.down will be held August 31, September 1 and 2 at the Snow Ridge Ski area in Turin, NY. moe.down is an annual party for moe. and its fans. The band will perform a total of six sets throughout the weekend. Early Bird Tickets are on sale NOW through moe.ticketing. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster and online through Snow Ridge, at the Snow Ridge Box Office, or by phone at 315-348-8456. Buffalo fans can pick up tickets at Terrapin Station,1172 Hertel Ave, Buffalo NY.

In addition to moe., this year's performers include:
Perry Farrell's Satellite Party
The Roots
Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood
Amos Lee
Meat Puppets
Strangefolk
State Radio
Al and the Transamericans
Rolla

Tonight's show (August 22nd) at Cains Ballroom, Tulsa, OK has changed venues.
The new venue is the Sound Pony Lounge, Tulsa, OK
I've only seen this noted on a bulletin Mink has sent out.
However when I checked the Cains Ballroom site it says the show is cancelled.
I'm still trying to figure out exactly what is going on.
More info if / when I find it.

New venue / info for the September 26th show!
Smashing Pumpkins to headline Sept. 26 concert

Statesman staff - Idaho Statesman
Edition Date: 08/21/07

The Smashing Pumpkins will headline a three-band alternative-rock concert Sept. 26 at Qwest Arena.
The Chicago-based Pumpkins — one of the biggest rock acts of the 1990s — recently regrouped with a fresh lineup and released a hard-rocking album, "Zeitgeist." Frontman Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin are the lone original members.

Satellite Party, a new band assembled by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, will open for the Pumpkins. Consequently, Satellite Party's previously announced concert Sept. 26 at The Big Easy has been nixed.

The night's first band will be The Bravery, a New York-based synth-rock group.

Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at TicketWeb and Qwest Arena for $39.50 and $49.50.
