Thanks kc!
I had a blast.
I'm working on a review and I hope to have it posted latter today.

Bear with me, folks, but I have to vent a little here. Dipping back into the back catalog, Porno, SYTBS, Jane's, the whole "stage two" tour blog entry......gave us the addition of "Pets?" 12 songs for a full club show?!? This is troubling. Perry has 7 albums to draw from and we only get 5 songs not from the new release? Did he even play 90 minutes? Help! : (

Scooby, I hear what your saying but I want to preach patience here.
Nick and Jordan have only been with the band for a little over two weeks.
It's going to take a little while for them to gel with the band.
I think last night's show was better than the show at Lolla.
I think tomorrow's show will be a improvement on last nights.
Once these guys get a few shows together under their belts the sky is the limit.

As far as your setlist complaints go this all ties in with what I typed up there.
It's going to take time for these guys to rehearse new additions to the setlist.
I can tell you after speaking with the band new additions are forthcoming.
They're rehearsing them and we'll hear them when Perry thinks they're ready for us to hear.

What they played last night was half Satellite Party / half Jane's and Porno.
Personally I think that's a good mix.
It gives the folks that are coming to hear Satellite Party a healthy portion.
While the old schoolers who want to hear Jane's and Porno get what they want as well.

You're going to have to take a number and stand in line with your complaint about set time.
This complaint goes all the way back to the 1985 - 1991 era Jane's days.
It's been something that fans have always lamented.
I don't expect it will ever change because I think Perry lives by the old adage "leave them wanting more".

Thank you for your quite rationale response, I appreciate your consideration of my comments. Often, folks are flamed for any feedback that's less than worship on other music fan sites. That being said, I certainly will totally dig what looks like I'll be hearing in Cincy at Bogarts. I remember when I saw Porno back in 1996 that he played a few more than 12 songs. Here's hoping that by next week they feel comfortable fleshing out the show at least a song or two! I would just like them to touch on SYTBS and GGU (a song from each would do!).

Keep up the good stuff on this forum!

My ticket was free.
Compliments of the Farrell's.
I'd planned to buy a ticket at the door to avoid the ticket master charges.
Regular price for the general admission ticket was $23.50.

No worries Scooby.
I don't have a problem with criticism here it's just the mean spirited stuff I can do without.
I'm always happy to discuss these things.
