You mean xiola?

Say what you want... but I daresay you won't find a group of more passionate JA fans ANYWHERE else online... and whether you like it or not its pretty cool there are still people around that care enough to be so "critical"...

That being said I did appreciate some of SP's performance at Lolla 07... and they were very brave for even attempting to play with such short notice for the new members...
Essence_Smith it's one thing to be "critical" but often it goes beyond that.
To the point where it becomes asinine or just plain stupid.
If you have a opinion whether it's positive or critical that's fine but why be so negative?
Regardless I don't want this to turn into some stupid board war.
Let's get back to Lolla.

Perry posted a nice blog recapping the weekend today.

man, i am so mixed up about this. i really dislike the record, but after seeing SP in new york at highline ballroom i was converted. the songs were so much better and rocked out live. i've seen perry in ny every time he's performed since 1995(except for a jane's radio giveaway ticket only show right when strays came out). i traveled to CA for coachella in 01. a lot of people are down on this new venture. i was, then wasn't, now line-up changes ans awful youtube lolla clips, i'm confused! i'll be at the irving plaza show, but with an extremely skeptical eye. so confused. please no jane says or BCS. please. please no pets. no mountain song(that sucked in ny anyway, nice amp nuno). please shock me without this same old run of the mill hits package of a show. bring out sean lennon and do 100 ways. that was shocking in 95. get a band like rasputina to open, not quean v. i was turned on to rasputina from a p4p show. something new, eclectic, no redundent bullshit(like my post) rambling, drunk, later

Here's another photo set I found on flickr.
There are some great shots in here.
I really like the B&W pics.

Here's Summertime Rolls again.
This time the whole song in one clip. :)

This is probably my favorite clip from this years Lolla.
It's so cool to hear this as a duet.
Those kids / young adults are really outstanding.
I love that girl's voice and expect we'll hear more from her in the future. :dance2:

The first minute or so is the sign language guy really getting into it.
The lady in the background filming is Ondi Timoner.
Ondi is working on a long over due Lollapalooza documentary.

I found this video tonight while doing some searching.
It's over 24 minutes long and there's only a little bit of Perry / Satellite Party footage.
It starts just past the 14 minute mark.
