Here was the Nails set:

(Also, Trent Reznor joined SSSC for a cover of MC5’s “Kick Out The Jams”)

NIN

01. Home
02. 1,000,000
03. Terrible Lie
04. March of the Pigs
05. Metal
06. Becoming
07. I’m Afraid of Americans
08. Burn
09. Gave Up
10. La Mer
11. The Fragile
12. Gone, Still
13. The Way Out Is Through
14. Wish
15. The Hand That Feeds
16. Head Like a Hole
17. Hurt

So no new songs to the tour from either band tonight, just solid set lists.

Yeah it is.
I'm hoping and :please: that one stays in the set if they decide to make any changes.

Here's a photo set I ran across on flickr.

Watch the slide show for larger size pics.
It really shows how  the stage set up / lighting is.

Hurry up May 29th!

I posted on xiola, instead of trading off a song here and there...why not play all of them?

It would take the set list from 13 to about 16...
I agree with this. Unless it's like a voice issue with Perry, where he might lose his voice before Kansas City. Then screw it.

This would be an ideal set, and one comparable to the NIN opener:

1. Three Days
2. Whores
3. Ain't No Right
4. Pigs in Zen
5. Then She Did
6. Mountain Song
7. Standing in the Shower...Thinking
8. 1%
9. Had a Dad
10. Been Caught Stealing
11. Ted, Just Admit It
12. Up the Beach
12. Ocean Size
Encore:
13. Stop!
14. Summertime Rolls
15. Jane Says

Of course, as it stands, I'm digging the setlist. Everything I want is there. I really don't want them to fuck with it unless they just add to it.

I'd like the above setlist, but exchanging 1% for Trip Away on certain dates, and occasionally add Chip Away after Jane Says. Throw an Obvious or Kettle Whistle in there at times, maybe exchange Ain't No Right for No One's Leaving ... toss My Time in there once or twice ... then it would feel like the NIN set list - full of mystery and somewhat personalized for each venue.

But I think the length has everything to do with Perry's voice box, and the rigidity of the set has everything to do with the lighting and video stuff that's hardwired to the list.

I still want Ocean Size as the opener - with a 10 second pause at the start between Dave and Perry....just to get the crowd rev, cause when they kick it in it's explosive...I think they should work up to three days...

Yeah I'd take Up the Beach and Ocean Size as the openers. Get that whole Nothing's Shocking vibe going, draw people in, and then you could punch them in the nuts with 3 days.

I know there's a lot of songs we as fans would like to hear.
The one I really want them to play is My Time!
Perry if you're reading this bust it out May 29th PLEASE!

Anyway I think the setlist is going to stay as is for the most part for the balance of this tour.

I mentioned it in another thread and Mudget you touched on it in your previous post as well but...

The production of the tour has made them prisoners for lack of a better word.
I'm not complaining when I say that.
How could I when I haven't seen the show yet.
Its just that they have all these cool visuals thrown into the mix and they are after all in reality playing for a different audience every night.

Sure they could rotate in one that they haven't played every night and in doing so give us a bone but as I said I think the set will stay pretty much as it is.

Should they decide to play other dates beyond this NINJA tour and the planned UK dates we may still get a chance to hear some of the more obscure stuff.
