Farrell seems a poser with that jacket....he isn't David Bowie!! he is a rock star ok! but he has changed dramatically ..... from a whore on the road of mars to a ultramega glossy mtv dandy, ....he isn't David Bowie!! He's not credible in these clothes but the sounds of the band is very good! the song is good. his vocal performance not too much but this is a tv appearance, it could be normal because it also happens to others. He always push a pedal before every rit...what's that?

The pedal is his delay.

The performance of the music and the band were very good, and not at all "laughable". However the two woman that looked like they just left the office, that were doing super boring dancing on tiny platforms were very much "laughable". To the person criticizing Perry's outfit-Perry has been back and forth between completely ridiculous, and cutting edge cool. I believe that Perry's music, art, and style have always been HEAVILY informed by the woman he is with any given time. I think Casey Niccoli is the most under appreciated part of the classic JA look and sound. Unfortunately Etty is good for Perry's health and well being, but he's got to separate his art from her. I can hear the moments on the new album that really shine are the one's were Etty is not heard. For example Irresistible Force=Etty End to the Lies=Not Etty.

P.S. I think EA brings a certain austerity to the JA sound. However could it be that Casey is the one that is the true missing ingredient when it comes to the reason why JA look and sound so different now. Just look at how much Perry' is informed by the woman he is with. If she's not THE missing part she is certainly THE most under rated part ofthe classic JA sound. It doesn't matter if she never played a not with JA, it was her effect on the guiding force of the band which has ALWAYS been Perry. Jus sumthin ta thank abowt

ha! ur starting to sound like the pizza guy in Gift .. "are u janes addiction? ... can i get ur autograph?"

but yeah I agree somewhat .. casey and perry art set an esthetic of honest beauty that is very fortunate because the whole hair metal scene they came out of was one of the stupidest styles ever and caseys touch was very much missing from the strays era as well .. in fact u might say that between strays and escape artist .. etty has had at least a little bit of an improving affect on the music .. if we are now delegating these records as casey and etty records
