Got this in email today too. Laguna Beach is an educated guess from google searching the address.

I don't think Laguna Beach is the correct city for this show.
I just did my own Google search for "1406 Alta Vista CA" and came up with Vista, CA.

If you check that link I think you may agree that I'm correct.
While at that link zoom in using the satellite view and I think what we have here is a HOUSE PARTY!

Certainly things could have changed in the nearly 28 years since this show took place but that sure looks like a residential neighborhood to these eyes and I so want to jump into one of those pools right about now.

I'm not going to change the city until you've had time to checkout this post.

Laguna Beach is a bit closer to L.A. proper than Vista is.

I added a note on the show page about the possibility of this show being in Vista, CA due to the ambiguity of the address, but I'd be willing to bet that it was still in Laguna Beach. Every Psi Com show we have in 1983 is in L.A., in fact it looks like it isn't until 1985 that we have any confirmed PC shows outside metro L.A.

While Vista isn't very far from L.A., it's really more metro San Diego. For a band just starting out, I think it is more likely they'd be playing a party closer to home than anything else. Obviously that is just speculation, but I think there is some decent logic behind it.

Usually when I do an address search I get multiple results to chose from but I only get Vista for this one.
I think you've got some good reasoning behind Laguna Beach and I think I'm wrong now.

There is an Alta Vista Blvd in West Hollywood...maybe a private party?

Now that sounds even more likely!

Laguna may not seem very far from LA on a map, but driving and traffic wise, its a haul!

I'll be driving right past this street tonight, so I'll do a field report to see if this is a home or
