got a heads up about this over email last night:

Image

I got the impression from the email, that the dude just found the pic and wasn't at the show. The ticket clearly was printed for 3/6/89 and then changed. Quite possibly a printing error that was fixed before tix sold. Something to look into.

Nice find helicine!

Isn't it sweet when these goodies just land in your email?

Them playing this show on the 7th certainly goes a long way to explain why the following show was cancelled.

03/07/1989 - The Lost Horizon, Syracuse, New York

I'll see if I can find out anything else.

Although the above article doesn't explain the misprint on the ticket it does go a long way in firming up the 7th as the correct date of the show.

It also gives us the opener Kim Ryder.

I love the photo caption too!
All the way back in '89 people were getting this stuff screwed up.

While trolling the archive I found out that this show was indeed originally scheduled for March 6, 1989. It turns out it was postponed until March 7 because NBC was filming a movie in and around the venue.

As I mentioned earlier, this show was rescheduled because NBC was on location filming a movie. The name of the movie is “Stuck With Each Other“ and starred Tyne Daly and Richard Crenna. The movie featured ballroom dancing which was filmed at the venue.

I was able to grab the whole article but it looks like crap and you can barely read it. What I ended up having to do was zoom in on the pertinent stuff so you can read it.
