being that uc riverside is on campus and seems more likely for a Jane's show.

Thanks hydro!
I see you've already attempted to contact them for some info. :thumb:

There's no need in both of us bothering them so I'll leave you to it.

I am going to look those links over some more though.
I did my undergraduate degree there, and, yes, bands did play at the Barn (UC Riverside). But for the most, the place functioned (still?) as the on-campus pub with people drinking lunches with occasional shows. There is no affiliation with "Alpine Village" or anything like that. It is simply a barn-shapped building on campus.

Reseda Centennial 1912 - 2012

Reseda, one of the original valley suburbs, will be celebrating its 100th year throughout 2012, planning and participating in events and revelries culminating in a gala outdoor music festival in September. Reseda, the hub of the valley, was an original Red Car stop on the Pacific Electric line, and is host to the Los Angeles River, ground-zero of the Northridge Earthquake, and the home of the Karate Kid.

Reseda was once the heart of a diverse and vibrant music scene, with acts such as U2, Tom Petty, James Brown, No Doubt, Zoogz Rift, Los Lobos, Lucinda Williams, and Jane's Addiction performing at such locations as The Country Club and BeBop Records. The Reseda Centennial Music Festival seeks to recreate the heyday of the Reseda music scene as well as celebrate the diversity of its community with a wide variety of cultural performers.
