Talking to myself here. What is up with Jane's NOT playing in DC? Last tour (Avery), they played in MD. Tour before (Lolla?) they played in VA. Tour before (Opened with Kettle Whistle) they played in VA. Before that was the 97' tour and they skipped this area. (Philly was the closest). Before that was 91' Lolla, they played in VA. And finally, before that was the Smith Center in DC! No love for DC. (They did play a festival back in 03 in DC but that was only 4 songs so that doesn't count). Now I have to hoof it up to B-more. Oh well..

What's up with Summertime getting skipped.

I'm pretty sure I saw Dave and Stephen ask Perry if they should play summertime at the end of Stop and Perry said "I can't" or something. Tired? Had to go somewhere? Dunno.. Show notes: Dave played the intro to Bon Jovi's wanted dead or alive before Jane says. Perry tapped the security guy that was checking tickets up front and gave him the thumbs up to leave everyone alone. (Also told them to take the night off earlier on). Perry was swigging vodka (wine later) and passed it around to the people up front. Not suprisingly he didn't take another sip when they handed it bacck to him. I was wearing a Spiritualized shirt and I think Dave played a few notes of them before Three Days, Perry pointed in my direction after he played it. Awesome show, they sounded great!
