(Chicago, IL) – Legendary alternative rock pioneers Jane’s Addiction, have announced a spectacular addition to their sold-out Lollapalooza after show at the Aragon Ballroom on August 4 – the U.S. debut of a new 360 degree livestream technology, known as PanoCast Spherical 360 VR, that will allow fans the unique opportunity to not only watch the concert from their computers, but see the venue from every angle with a click of their mouse.

PanoCAST Spherical 360 VR moving imagining technology represents a radical departure in moving image production. Described as an immersive and interactive experience for audiences, it allows viewers of the PanoCAST livestream to be immersed in a radically innovative audience experience delivered to their home computers. This interactive technology gives each participant a unique, real-time point-of-view from which to experience the live concert. Viewers will use their computer mouse to "look around" and zoom in and out on the action at the live concert scene.

“It’s going to be a historic evening for Lollapalooza and Jane's Addiction. All those who couldn't get a ticket (4,000 lucked out of 300,000) can view our after party as if their eyeballs were rolling around the ballroom,”says front man Perry Farrell.

The livestream will be carried on www.redbullusa.com/aftershow and is scheduled to start at 10:15pm CST on Saturday, August 4, 2012. The link will be live just before show time.

Tickets for this extraordinary Lollapalooza after show event sold out in 5 minutes, and will feature Jane’s Addiction, very special guests Franz Ferdinand, dubstep pioneers Skream and Benga, and Ume, a Texas-based rock band that was handpicked by Perry Farrell from the hundreds of bands featured on RedBullSoundStage.com.

dave and pete double teaming cursed is the best thing this band has done in decades ... now if they just go grateful dead style .. pull in pete permanently .. double there song catalog and switch up 3 hour sets every night with a fat acoustic set in the middle ... mix of pfp, janes, spread, and a few of perry solo tunes .. fuck lolla .. fuck dobel .. fuck 3g .. just be a real band and give the people what they want .. somebody steal a soundboard of this moment pleaze
