WOW!

When it rains it pours!

I just spotted a t-shirt made special for this show on ebay.
If anyone has an extra $499 laying around my birthday is in September.

Jesus... $500? This is why people bootleg things and stick 'em up on eBay

Crazy and odd.

Same seller also has this shirt for 124$:

Never seen this one, either...

Anyone else? Are they legit or someone taking the entrepreneurial spirit.

I'm guessing they're legit based on the huge number of other 'vintage tees' he has up and his ebay rating.

I'd also guess that if you are selling bootleg T's, it would be easier to sell 50 shirts @ $10 than 1 shirt at $500 :noclue:

Ooh, that's my "lucky shirt".. I've had it since '94. Surprisingly still in good shape given the number of times I've worn/washed it over the years. Mine has a slight difference to the one in the auction, as directly under the "© JANE'S ADDICTION 1988" it says "under license ["in" or "to" something I can't make out]"
But yeah, I bought it off the Concert Express catalog way back then (anybody remember them? had a big selection of shirts and import cds, a few bootleg cassettes.. pretty sweet back in the pre-internet days.. though I do recall getting my order screwed up once or twice). This auction is the first other shirt like that I've seen.
Here's me wearing it as a rock star a few years back..

Hey guys, I know I'm a little late to the party here...but I was actually at this show at the Colonles in Beverly Hills. My then girlfriend at the time worked for their talent agency Triad Artists and she was able to get a couple of us in to the private show. It was incredible, as I remember it they only did a couple, maybe 3 songs as well as the Peppers too if memory serves, one of which was an incredible version of 3 days...anyway, I noticed a couple of you posted links up top to photos, images of the flyer etc. but I tried clicking on them and none of them seem to work anymore or are expired...was wondering if you have a spot in this group or an area where I might be able to check out those photos/links...missing those early Janes days and have always wanted to see some images from that show on the Colonels tennis court...been going to shows and parties like that for over 30 years now and to this day that night was still one of the best nights I ever had relating to a rock and roll show...thanks for any info or images...peace!

haha these days you'd never get away with putting "mexican costumes" on a party invite, the PC police would be after you.
