The English language gets butchered a little bit more with every passing generation.
Add that properness to the subject matter he was discussing and you get why I thought it was so funny.
My thoughts exactly! Especially when he said things like "pnuematic bossoms" I mean, COME ON! Awesome!! Add that to the fact that it was getting late, I was rather stoned by then and the guys were totally losing it...the whole thing had me busting up. Love those moments.

Those folks sure don't like it when you talk about the Queen Mother in a less than flattering way.
Yikes!! That's not so good

Well being British, and a little Kiwi thrown in, my accent has really softened so when I'm in the States its just the speed of my speech more than the accent that will throw some Americans   But its nothing like this dude who was so stereotype I just figured he was having them on (like they all thought as well)...either way it was some funny as hell shit and when Dark Matter is on fire like that it rules like nothing else.

Nice call as well Mike, you do well in the "lion's den" that is Dark Matter. Man, when those 3 gang up they can really rag on your ass - all in the name of fun of course  I hope you get to call in every week or, at least alternate weeks, to find out what's up. Good work and I'm glad your trip worked out so well for you :)

The Australian accent is just a bastardised version of the English one. Though i do think i have as "proper" an accent as an Austraian can have, hahaha. (when i remember to).. otherwise it's twangy i.e faaaarkn caaaarnt. (Fucking cunt) - The Australian Mantra.

My Mates were in LA for Coachella and everyone thought they were English, which is funny because when Americans Parody the Aussie accent, they sound English. Also.. and you probably should sit down for this one...... No one is Australia says "lets throw another shrimp on the Barbie"... The whole, entire country calls them 'Prawns'. and NO ONE except faaarken Caaaaarnts cooks them on a BBQ. haha little Aussie info there for you guys.
I think you can blame Paul Hogan and Crocodile Dundee for a lot of that.

That's the point where I started laughing uncontrollably!

As much as I enjoy calling in and talking with Dave and his crew, it's a lot of fun listening to other folks calls.

That night had the potential to get very ugly.
I'm pretty outspoken especially if I have a few beers in me and I was just talking with these guys in a pub.
I can't for the life of me remember exactly what I said about the Queen but it quickly turned into a mess.
I do remember Paul asking me if I was fooking crazy talking about the Queen the way I was.

Thanks for the kind words in regard to my call.
They were busting my balls but it was all in good fun and it doesn't bother me.
I just played the show for my 16 year old and he was laughing his ass off right along with me.

Mike, is there a download link for the Adelaide show Dave was on about? Thanks.

I'm under the impression that it's going to be re-uploaded and the link shared here before to long.
The link I was emailed was a 30 part download and it would take days for most to get it.

Look for it in not to distant future.
