:noclue: To each their own. I can definitely understand thinking it is overproduced if you feel the same about NS and Ritual - but again, you're kind of implying most studio recorded material is overproduced. I can appreciate that concept, but when you look at overproduced studio work, I just don't think TGEA falls into that category.

Maybe I hear more or different pop music than you, but again TGEA sounds more like a modern rock album than a pop album. If they had added in some autotune and an 808, and then you'd have a good argument :lol:

I agree with Trev that there's not enough Perkins! I did hear a couple of his classic roaring drum beats but like he said it just sounded like it was looped in here and there. Honestly I DO need to listen some more. I have only had a chance to sit and listen a couple times, I need a couple more for sure!!

His drums fit the songs thats all there is needed. The album is not overproduced it sounds fine.
