Maybe it is just the photo you posted, but that tape looks like a "bedroom boot", as in something someone whipped up on their computer at home and traded out to a handful of people - as opposed to something that was more professionally printed. It is the latter that we put in the bootography.

the guess is this was a fans boot. its old, your point tickles me realizing ive stumbled unto something rarer, even fewer made, almost like a zine of the times.

The only JA centric zine I am aware of is the old Janes Xine setup by Phil Hayes way back in the early-to-mid 90's. I've got archives on CDR/DVDR in my basement.
