I finally got around to giving these Ritual tracks a listen yesterday and there are some differences.

Some very small but some a bit more substantial.

There are some guitar parts in Stop! that just jumped out as being different.

I dunno where I got the tape hiss comment from either.
These sound clean and there's little or no tape hiss.
I guess I had this mixed up with something else.

At any rate I'm going to put it up in the download section if anyone is looking for it.

I noticed this a while back and have been meaning to ask about it.

Has anyone else noticed that at the beginning of Ted on disc 3 someone says "Take three"?

At least that's what it sounds like to me.
Have any of you heard this?

I think you mean disc 2?

Just played it, and yeah, if you crank it up really loud you can hear someone in the background say "take three" - hadn't really noticed it before :noclue:

Yeah I meant disc 2.

Very cool that I'm not hearing things.
Like I said I noticed it a while back and had been meaning to ask about it.

This past weekend I was cranking it as you say and noticed it again.
Anyway the best thing about this is there may be two more takes in the can. :please:

That might be wishful thinking. It is possible the first 2 attempts were stopped during the recording process to do some tweaks. Regardless, it is probably a safe bet to say that this one is the best version since it actually made it to the box set. But of course, more Jane's is more Jane's, and I certainly wouldn't thumb my nose at more cuts of this song!
