Cancel your amazon order and place one with Best Buy. It's a no brainer.

If it were only that simple - I bit the bullet and paid more for the 2CD ver that popped up on eBay early on - already paid for. So I don't need the amazon 1 disc version as well... but I haven't canceled it yet

disc one sucked...disc 2 hopefully save'd it....

In this morning's email from Capital
(Subject: THE GREAT ESCAPE ARTIST Available Everywhere 10/18)

"Head over to Best Buy for a special deluxe version of the album too!"

I got the two disc set at Best Buy today for their advertised price of $11.99.
It was ringing up and marked at $16.99 but after showing them their ad from Sunday's paper they called over their manager and gave it to me for $11.99.

I haven't opened it up yet becase I want to scan it for the site before I do but I think it's the same version as the other 2 disc sets?

However on the front it says "Best Buy Exclusive 2 CD Set"
On the back it says " Bonus CD featuring 11 of Jane's Addiction's classic hits live from the 2011 Viva Latino Festival in Mexico City, Mexico"

i had the same problem, and ALSO in the past with BB.
...so i grabbed an ad on the way in, and whadda know:

did you notice the boxed t-shirt BB was selling
it was big enough for a cd/dvd/shirt, but in the end it was just a big box with the Jane's LOGO "T"

I checked my order with Best Buy yesterday, only to find it had been backordered. Of course, it didn't say that when I ordered it. So I headed down to the store and picked up a copy for 11.99 instead of the 16.99 I was charged for the pre-order. Those BB guys suck balls.
