Actually, come to think of it, I think he might be telling the truth.

When I went to see Porno for Pyros in '96 I saw Perk outside the club before the gig. He was looking really down and a bit guilty, I said to him 'Hi Stephen Perkins! What's wrong?" He said to me, "Well, I'm really looking forward to this gig, but I feel really guilty. I really believe in this new album we're going to be releasing but there's something bugging me about the lyrics."

"How do you mean?" I questioned. "Well, I'm in two minds about them; either Perry wrote them himself or he stole them from some love letters from this schoolkid that goes by the online pseudonym Rez22. I just can't decide."

To which I replied "Hmm, that really is a pickle. Don't worry Perkins, your secret is safe with me!"

I met Perry Farrell (for real, mine is a true story) outside a club in 2003, end leg of JA 2003 tour.

Good show, and after the concert, we were waiting the band outside the club for some autograph and shaking hands.

Perry came out, he was in front of me (-us) was a topic moment in my life, few second to meet my lifetime spiritual guidance.
I wasn't prepared so i said the first thing in my mind without thinking:
"Go on Perry" "You gotta go on, man - it's time to go on".

Jane broke up few weeks later, then new project Satellite Party was born.
The very first show was at Key Club, i was very curious and the first song (Dogstar) the lyrics were like "it's time to shine.... go on"

I remember the time I was in some park somewhere and I was talking about Kaboose. Inc. You may know Kaboose as the "small Canadian independent media company targeting the broader English speaking North American market".

Anyway, there was an advert for Kaboose in this magazine I was reading, and the advert itself was REALLY well designed. In fact I would go as far as to say it was sexy. So there I was saying "Sexy sex kaboose!" repeatedly and then a few years later Song Yet to be Sung came out.

COINCIDENCE?

Maybe I done something wrong

In the video shot at the NME awards that was a
interview with the reunited Jane's Addiction
Perry made a hand gesture towards his cheek
under his nose when he said the word "because"
maybe in the sense he was taking about the
song "Just Because" and he was trying to explain the
reason for the song

I Remember when I was telling people some of my letters
where used on the Jane's Addition the Strays album
on the official Jane's Addiction website when it was active
I remember someone reply to my post that I was a "mushroom"

So maybe Perry thinks I done something or
the person he thinks wrote the letters has done something
wrong

I would still like to meet him though
It seems like a long shot that anyone would use those
letters for songs but a few bands did now
I am just trying to get up with them
