Good question.
We don't even know if Perry will go under SP name again.

There seems to be some sort of confusion about SP identity.
At the beginning i thought SP was Perry and Nuno plus Nuno's friends.

the album went out then you go to the concert and you got Perry with Nick and Jordan playing P4P and Jane's songs.

Now SP is Perry with Carl playing Jane's and new songs.

I think Perry is still trying to find the formula.

Anyway I don't like band name for individual musicians, like Nine Inch Nails who is basically just Trent Reznor plus guests, i prefer a solo name as a career.
A band name is for a real band.

to me Satellite Party means ...just a "party".When I think of a party I think of a free for all, no rules, anyones invited do whatever you want, have fun.nothings set in stone anything can happen.

if they dropped the "band" name Satellite Party then people could of thought "oh another band that failed"...instead they kept the name and kept "partying"

my point is  its all nuno bunonos fault

Hey Eric, I'm pretty sure it's a Satellite Party track.
I'm not 100% certain though.

If it's the song I think it is they did it at the gig in South Carolina Friday

Oh man, what can I say? I'm just not feeling any of this stuff. I'm not a cynic, I'm not gonna flame anything, in fact i really hope it all grows on me but, for now at least, these songs just tip-toe in one ear and slide out the other.

Hope no-one thinks i'm jacking this thread and just being negative - i come to this site all the time because i love the vibe and i dig everything about Perry... i just think he should be doing more... not that i know what "more" would actually constitute.

No it not that his beatbox music sound bad. It sound ok but it is commonplace. He has been to bali, hong kong, samoa and other place in pacific far east. Why he not bring back some of these musics and put them in Satellite Party?

You know what mate, that's probably it. Music is art and art should be anything from thought provoking, eye opening, challenging, beautiful, abstract, unique (even a clever reinvention ), uncomfortable perhaps. Jane's fitted in there somewhere for sure... as did Porno. Then the solo record came along and had it's moments. This latest stuff just feels like pandering to the masses / wanting to be liked - something like that. Maybe I'm way off the mark and this latest body of work is building up to something but I'm not convinced. Yeah, everyone now pans Strays at the 1st mention of it but, come on, songs like Price I Pay and To Match The Sun were brilliant - it's only 6 years since he wrote those... it feels a whole lot longer than that right now.
