Sadly I would care. I always like to be optimistic that people can recapture their old glory. I guess you could say I'm a dreamer. I would probably go to as many shows as possible, but bring a sign that said Trip Away on one side and Idiots Rule on the other and raise hell in the front row til they played one of em.

High Five wrote:2003 was a disaster and I don't see how another reunion is going to change things around. Perry's voice was off in 2003. At some shows he sounded like an old man attempting to sing Jane's Addiction songs...and we all know what to expect from Dave and Perk....

I think Jane's should stop where they are. It's only hurting the legacy to keep trying to make something work that only makes people angry with each.
It's clear that it's time to move on.
Can't wait to see what any of them do next!

I have a dream...
Original line-up.
A set of 5 shows over 5 nights in the middle of the desert.
Night 1: All rarities, unreleased songs played.
Night 2: Strays in it's entirety.
Night 3: XXX in it's entirety.
Night 4: Nothing's Shocking in it's entirety.
Night 5: Ritual De Lo Habitual in it's entirety.
Stage decorated a'la Ritual period.
Perry in fucked up costumes and drunk off his ass.
Dave shuts the fuck up.
Perk and Eric hold the bottom down with the silent intensity of the old days.
I think this would garner massive coverage, and cement the band's legacy once and for all as one willing to give their fans a final festival that lives up to the Jane's name.
It would also be an opportunity for every fan that wanted to come to see the band in all it's glory, hear every possible song they could want to hear, and feel good about how the band ended.
I think Eric can be talked in to it. I think they all could be. I think we, the fans, should persists until this takes place.
I gots $5 on it.

well i would love to see them reunite their legacy. i want jane's addiction.
who cares if their a litttle different as long as they're the same people than so what.
i don't think people are old untill they're 100. perry's not even 50.
i think he still looks hot.
although i do wish he still wore those sexy costumes. i liked when he was drunk and high and screwed up.
you can't relive the past, but i just like to pretend the past is now. that way i feel like we never lost it.
