Could be Lara Espinoza, Espanoza, or something else along those lines. I tried googling around to see any musicians/singers/performers with that name, but came up empty. Maybe somebody in the Jane's camp could confirm her name for us?

This has always intrigued me, because as far as I can think of, this is the only known instance of Jane's Addiction featuring live backing vocals. Which I think is a bummer, because I'm a fan of vocal harmonies n' shit. Perry does em great on album, but of course he can't really do it live, other than messing with his delay effects. I kinda wish Dave or Eric would've chipped in some backup. Dave often mouthed the words when he was playing, so why not put a mic in front of him?
gah, ok, I forgot about when Perk would stroll from the steel drum up to the mic and yell "She can't hit!" with Perry.
My apologies for slighting his vocal contributions. :perk:

But no, seriously, nobody has any info on Laura Espinoza? Mike, maybe you can add her to the long list of things to ask Dave about.

That's a great shot from the MSG show that I stole off flickr a while back.
I got a few more if anyone wants to check them out?

I'll try and remember to ask Dave about this but I haven't heard the recording.
What song or songs is she singing on?

She sings on Ted and Maceo. Ted is the same version from Abdication and La La Palooza.
