I'm a huge fan of Ozzy's solo stuff with Randy, Iron Maiden, The Scorpions, etc.
I guess that's why I like this aspect of Dave's playing and you don't?

i love pete @ perrypalooza during meija he flubs a lil trying to get his guitar chord back in the jack during meija then to compensate he totally rocks it out .. and the dynamic of the acoustic shows never seems to disappoint .. no bass player just congas pete and perry and still it sounds full and he even manages a few guitar solos ..

Porno For Pyros is in some ways such a different animal when compared to Jane's.
Yeah sure you've got Perry wailing on both but to me at least that's where the comparison ends.
They went into it wanting to create a different sound and for my money they succeeded for many of the reasons you posted.

This is true. Drum sound is perfect on Pyros. Pyros use organic instrument sound. Janes Addiction song they do live hit you in the head with metal. Pyros a lot of time relax you like cool mountain river. I like relaxation.

The soft side of Janes Addiction i like. Summer time roll, i would for you, my time, classic girl then she did.

ok well i will admit that when i was in high school i devoured all the 80s metal band song books with the guitar tablature while i was honing my skillz ... SOOO i will try my best not to tease u (get it) about ur hair metal love .. tho i still question ur metal health on the subject i dont really want to start a quiet riot over it ... i mean when i think about where i came from, learning all of daves songs note for note i have 2 question who made who, am i a byproduct of daves poison .. does he really warrant all this critique ... am i just mad cuz he twisted my sister .. i mean enuffs znuff we should all get along like the motley crue of janes fans we were meant to be i mean jane is a classic girl ... she at least deserves that .. i know i'm nobodys fool and sometimes things go round and round so much i feel like i'm stuck like a ratt in the cellar .. i mean i dont wanna give love a bad name and who am i to say how u get ur kix .. so i'll be dokken my van, and halen a space taxi to the next satelite party ... if a few vixens show up i just might do the bang tango .. but whatever dave does from here i really have only one requirement .. he must kick axe!!!!
