After some 20+ spins I like the song. Chrous is good. The sound could be a bit rawer and the drums should be mixed more on the front but it's better than anything off Strays. But don't get me wrong, I liked Strays when it came out and there are some decent songs there but I guess with that album JA tried to sound JA as much as possible so its like a pastiche. The same thing happened to Metallica with their latest album.

That video and the ability to know 100% what Perry is singing just made me like this song twice as much.

Well the roof blowing thing would be really great and would be special to have lightning strike twice. but I dont know how real that scenario is.(but who am I to say?)
On that note I really like the direction these guys took. The addition of Sitek opened them up to new ideas and quite honestly, they have taken it and ran with with it. (fits right in) I like it alot.
Now my selfish side... I get it these guys have to make a living... but a club tour would be rad.
I wonder if they have that drive in them any more? would it be too much strain to go out and do mutltiple dates on a bus. versus, one time flights with weeks between gigs.
They are a volatile bunch.
I cant wait for the record!
