Just a quick comment about this week's show...I'm listening to podcast and am soooooo relating to Dave and Todd being annoyed at people give them shit for not smiling. Refreshing to know that this doesn't only happen to girls. My #1 pet peeve is when a guy comes up to me at a bar and says "Why don't you smile?" Ugggghhhhh!

He kind of reminded me of an old friend named Paul.

I haven't seen him forever but he kept a much younger very drunk me from getting the living shit kicked out of me when I was over in England once upon a time.

I learned a longtime ago that it's much more important to make a girl smile / laugh vs asking her why she's not.
At least that's what I think.

I don't think it's very difficult and it always makes me feel good if I can bring a smile to somebody's face.

He speaks very "properly" but its not THAT funny really?

Maybe it's because i'm Australian and the English accent is not so foreign.

I think you hit it on the head when you said "properly".
The English language gets butchered a little bit more with every passing generation.
Add that properness to the subject matter he was discussing and you get why I thought it was so funny.

I hope that's not offensive to you of anyone else with an English accent.

No one butchers the English accent like Australians. At least the American accent has completely separated over time. The Australian accent is just a bastardised version of the English one. Though i do think i have as "proper" an accent as an Austraian can have, hahaha. (when i remember to).. otherwise it's twangy i.e faaaarkn caaaarnt. (Fucking cunt) - The Australian Mantra.

My Mates were in LA for Coachella and everyone thought they were English, which is funny because when Americans Parody the Aussie accent, they sound English. Also.. and you probably should sit down for this one...... No one is Australia says "lets throw another shrimp on the Barbie"... The whole, entire country calls them 'Prawns'. and NO ONE except faaarken Caaaaarnts cooks them on a BBQ. haha little Aussie info there for you guys.
