Perry has wrote a new song for Andy Bell from Erasure
I loved Erasure back in the day so im very excited to hear this new song. Its said that Perry wrote the song for Marc Jacob.
The song will be out on Andy Bells next solo album at the end of this year.
Andy: There's a track called 'Honey, I Love Him' which is the only track written by somebody else, by Perry Farrell from Jane's Addiction, and I've also done a track with Kate Pierson from the B52's. I went to see her, she's got this lovely trailer park in Woodstock so I went up there to see her. And then the other stuff is all co-writes with Stephen Hague and Jon Collyer who did 'Nightbird' with us and Pascal Gabriel.
John: Any duets this time? There were some great duets on your first album?
Andy: No, the only duets are the track with Perry and Kate.

I can't think of one song by them.
I guess I'll need to google them and see what they're all about.
That said I'm always interested in new music from Perry.
Well I watched the video at the first link you posted.
The second link's video has been removed.
I'm still drawing a blank though.
As far as I know I've never heard anything by them.
I'll snoop around a little and see if I can find anything that rings a bell.
Regardless I'm looking forward to hearing whatever Perry cooked up with Andy.

If you were older than 10 in the 80's, my guess is that you would recognize at least one song by them - the one that the radio couldn't stop playing - "Chains of Love" I think. They also covered ABBA. I was big into them for like a year. (They have a song called "Stop", too). But they had a good vibe, and their sound is for SURE all about the 80's.
That song is similar to Culture Club's song "Love is Love", the song they played during the Playboy Mansion scene in "Three Days" movie.

Andy Bell Goes 'Non Stop' on New Album
Mar 22, 2010
Story by: Kate Gavino
Andy Bell, the former lead singer of '80s synthpop duo Erasure, will release his second solo album, Non Stop, on May 25 via Mute Records. A departure from Erasure's new wave sound, the album is composed of straight-up dance-pop with electro embellishments and disco-influenced fanfare. It feature a duet with Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell, a long time fan of Bell's. Produced by Pascal Gabriel (who has worked with Ladyhawke, Debbie Harry and Little Boots), Non Stop allowed Bell to indulge in the clubby, glam side of his persona, even purposefully changing his vocal register to accommodate a more soulful tone. The first single, "Will You Be There?," is now available on iTunes.
Despite this departure from Erasure, Bell continues to work with musical partner Vince Clarke. The duo have been meeting in the studio to prepare a follow up to 2007's Light At The End Of The World. They are currently collaborating on songwriting and tracking the album's process through their joint Twitter account.
