I really liked reading what Duff had to say in today's short blog.
I especially liked reading what he had to say about Up The Beach.

As far as the rivalry I'm over it.
I mean I even sent a Guns N' Roses site some show info I found a while back.

Seriously though these guys while from different scenes grew up in some of the same clubs.
Scream and Music Machine come to mind.

In addition I can think of two occasions when they shared the same bill.
One being the '86 L.A. Street Scene and the other being the 12/31/86 show at The Glamour.

Did these guys like each other back in the day?
I dunno.
I imagine there was some ego and a we're a better band than you type stuff going on but at the end of the day I can't help thinking they at least respected one another.

well, Axl was a big fan, evidenced by trying to get Dave to join, plus he wears a Ritual shirt in the "Don't Cry" video.

O yeah I forgot all about that video.
I can't imagine him wearing that and thinking Jane's suck or something like that.
