"According to Reuters, JANE'S ADDICTION has parted ways with bassist Duff McKagan (DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED, VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) after only five months of working together. "We wanted to thank Duff for helping us write songs for our new record," the band said via email. "We love the songs we worked on with him — and the gigs were a blast — but musically we were all headed in different directions. From here Duff is off to work on his own stuff so we wish him all the best."

too bad, I loved Duff being in the band. Glad I got to go to Bardot and the Roxy to see him with them.

They need to fucking call it quits now. It would have been the right thing to do with Eric leaving, now it's just utmost necessity.

It certainly didn't feel that way when Mike and I were in L.A., at least not in my opinion

I dont have any inside info
the energy, and im not even talking about their energy when they played together or how they sounded ect..im just saying the energy I got when I looked at the 4 of them together just told me that either "they" know it is not a permanent situation or ...oh hell IDK lol it just didnt seem right , and I knew in my gut this was not going to be a long term thing.
