Dave mentioned on Dark Matter last night that he and the guys were heading off to Portugal today.
Todd is taking some video cameras with him so hopefully we'll get to see some nice footage. :please:

Alive: grandes Jane's Addiction

Image

Por aí passaram algumas das músicas deste concerto - Mountain Song logo a abrir, Had a Dad, Three Days, o gingão Been Caught Stealing, Stop!

Todo aquele palco é, aliás, o cenário do pecado.

Merecido.

English translation:

Alive: big Jane's Addiction

Jane's Addiction just given a concert party, without a doubt one of the best in this year's Optimus Alive! you are finished. In 70 minutes, Perry Farrell was the lead actor in a show with a consistency higher than normal in an environment of rock festival.

The band, of course, could not pass along its history: that is, the two albums histories that made you never forget the name of Jane's Addiction, we speak of "Nothing's Shocking" and "Ritual de lo Habitual" in with 80 years of turning 90. So have some of the songs of this concert - soon to open Mountain Song, Had a Dad, Three Days, the jig Been Caught Stealing, Stop! (Accompanied by a shower of confetti), Ocean Size (with an introduction that seems less of an electrified guitar with water inside) and the acoustic encore, Jane Says.

Dave Navarro, the master of the guitar that has discovered his tattooed chest and well muscled, seems to have all the solutions on your instrument ... All the music of Jane's Addiction ask. The bass is heavy and the drums bomber Stephen Perkins complete sound structure that steep rock.

Perry Farrell, the principal of it all, behaves like a star glam repescada for a pre-grunge sound for those three companies instrumentalists. With an eccentric wardrobe, it's the pesky kid who plays the role of a prostitutinheiro that flirt with the two Balarin lingerie service, while drinking a bottle of wine from the bottle. Provocative act out your hand and put himself in a Portuguese desenvergonhadamente Spanish, with a girls' face with a 'beautiful'. The potential to add to the charisma of movie star-style rebel Sean Penn, Farrell is an unusual singer with his cries long range to music and a performer who dazzled recoils on himself while dancing in step engatatão. There are two Perry Farrells in the world, only one. And is this personality that contributes to the immortality of the band.

All that stage is, in fact, the scene of sin. Jane's Addiction represent bad company that our mothers would not like if we did, with the help of two dancers very erotic, since appearing on stage in the air and dancing never stopped adding that element hardcore, as proven by subsequent scenes bobo sex lesbians dancing and daring style strip with two sticks.

Before, the Stage Super Bock, the Devil on the Cross not be charged with all the call at the last minute, and spread the excitement of a new musical Portugal. Were the indie version of the Pipers of Lisbon, with beats of the two batteries located in an invisible line between punk and folk. Were justly acclaimed, with many people to learn by heart some of their songs. Deserved.
