Random Question abt Underground

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place -- but I'm curious - why does Dave have a mic and sing the first part of Underground, then they take his mic away? Then Etty is mic'd and gets to sing the whole time...I've noticed this at all the shows I've been to in the past cpl yrs. Not complaining (as I <3 Dave's voice) just thought it was odd

I don't know. Dave should sing backing vocals on every song. Seriously! And as long as we're dreaming about a perfect world, Pete D should be brought in on rhythm guitar.

So is Dave actually singing now?
Because he was just lip syncing it on the last tour as Jane's was using backing tracks. This was discussed here before.

No, he's singing. My DH and I always stand on Dave side and you can hear him (not loudly) but it's clearly his voice. Etty, on the other hand, I do not hear singing.
Here's a video from Uproar that my DH took...around 2:50-3 min-ish and then again around 3:30 you can hear Dave singing before his mic is revoked

As for P4P, I don't know...as much as I <3 Dave; I almost feel like Pete is the better fit (though I 110% agree about the need for a bass player switchup).

Cool video. Such a tease that they jam for like 3 seconds at the end of Mountain Song these days.. that should be a nice long extended jam. Give Dave and Perk a chance to show off.

To be fair, they've been letting Perk jam out more in the last couple of years than they have since their original run.
