Canceled: Jane's Addiction at Wrex the Halls
Jane's Addiction can't make it to Wrex the Halls -- but the 91x show must go on

Wrex the Halls takes on a new name, venue and ticket price with the news that Jane's Addiction won't be able to make it.

Wrex the Halls is going to sound a bit different than we originally thought.

Jane's Addiction, who was the headliner, announced Wednesday that they have to postpone their San Diego appearance.

As a result, local radio station and Wrex the Halls organizer 91x will be renaming the show and moving the bands -- Foals, Run the Jewels, PVRIS, the Wombats, Will & the People plus a local band yet to be announced -- to Soma and decreasing the ticket price. Now dubbed the 91x Holiday Show, it will still take place on Sunday, Dec. 13. Tickets for the new show, sans Jane's Addiction, went on sale Wednesday at 1 p.m. PST. Tickets for the Soma show cost $25 and are available here.

All Wrex the Halls tickets can be refunded at point of purchase.

I wonder if "logistical reasons" was due to the crap that made up the lineup. Jane's was the only reason I was going.

Wow Run the Jewels are THE best hip hop group in years and Foals usually do pretty good stuff too. That would have been a rad show. With the other two bands I was actually excited to see Jane's Addiction live. Weird huh. Their Alice in Chains Rock Star bullshit tour performance in SD was pretty awful. How much longer are they doing Ritual in full or is that already over?
