I apologize for that
I am just trying to get Perry's attention
so in my next post we will discuss
the letter I wrote a girl called "100 ways"
all the letters were written in a 7th grade school year
from fall of 1990 to summer of 1991
believe it or not

(from a other post)
(Someone posted with a signature)
(that said "birds build their homes right above my head")

first of all the lyrics "birds build there home here
right above my head"
were not written by Perry

I remember writting to a girl I had a crush on
I was sitting in my bed and through the window
I could hear birds singing they had made their
nest in the attic.
So I wrote "birds build their homes here
right above my head"

the part "they make the same sounds
kind of like you do" really does not make
sense but I wrote it down
I think Perry used it because sounds like it's saying
the sounds when they or us made love

I wrote about thinking of her in bed
"When I laying in my bed"
"100 ways"
"I thought about you and me 100 ways"

I remember getting laugh at for that
the girl I wrote the letters to would bring
them to school and let her friends read them
and they would say "What are you doing while your laying in bed
thinking of her, wacking off"

But the girl I wrote the letters to really didn't like me
mostly they made fun of the letters like the part
"And now I lay awake and dream you're right above my face
Look into my eyes the way you do and don't look away"
Her friends said that she said "If I was right above your face
that it would be scary" and also the part
"I would kiss you before you open up your eyes"
she said "If you kissed me and I opened up my eyes and saw you I would scream"
or something like that

Mostly the chorus was written by me
the part about "I can hear the rain coming in from miles away"
"Air is so clean like your skin next to my face"
which is another stange lyric but I think Perry like it

I give most of the credit to my brother he came up with
the parts mostly used for the verses
"You didn't have to give your necklace to me before I left
Now I lay awake and think how very smart you were"
There was no necklace given or gifts
and girl and I were never togther but
my brother came up with the parts that
sounded like a person writting about him and his lover
maybe he used his own experience from a relationship
he was in
He was a good writer

I think the girl now a woman still has those letters
I think she gave them to bands
So thats two songs my words were used in
"100 ways" and "Just Because" and there are more

So go ask Perry if you don't believe me
all I want is to meet him I don't care if he uses my words

I love that song it is one of my favorites

I almost believed this till I realized that your the one who also wrote the love letters that perry used in other songs.

I dont think child abuse and molesting is something to joke about
ummm if this is true im terribley sorry i like to believe everyone but wtf dude this is weird!!

My boyfriend use to think he was an alien and wore a clowns wig and big black glasses when he was on METH

mabey your like Jim Carey in that one movie where his whole life and his surrounding where a movie set and he didnt know it.mabey perry chose you at birth to do an experament with your life so he could write songs

once again if you were abused as a child in anyway im sorry and i would never make fun of u if it was true.

Sorry Rez22 but i don't believe this for a second.

In the other thread you started you claimed to have written something that's on Strays.

Now you're claiming you wrote half of Nothing's Shocking too.

Have I ever told you guys that I'm the Pope?

Mike, I'm gonna go way, way, way out on a limb here (which is to say, not out on a limb at all) and guess that "Rez22" doesn't believe it either.

Now this topic begins its slow but sure descent into obscurity.

I believe you. I read somewhere perry worked as a postman in 1991 and he used to open letters (probably to find some dope or nude pictures, as you all know he was a kind of nasty little pervert at that time...)

Once, back in 86, I met a crazy dog that forces me to jump on a wall while going to my handball training and then i remember that I said something like : "dogs they rule the night"

do you think perry may have been in the surrounding that night ?

PS : i love your stories rez22, please keep on providing us with your poetry

Well since you mentioned it

Well since you mentioned it

"Dogs they rule the night" was written by my brother
and I in those very same letters to the girl I had a crush on in the
7th grade

I wanted to write about dogs

I think the part "In a pack their very brave their very brave"
was written by me in the letter and was about street thugs or
hoodlums of the night and there relationship to dogs
How bullies are brave with their friends but pretty cool
when alone kind of like dogs

"When its time to mate"
"Their not to particular"
was my brothers idea
a dog being a man that will have sex with anything he sees

Let me explain at first I was puting the letters in her locker
at school to after she found out it was me writting the letters
so I would walk across town at night to her house and put it
the letter in her mailbox

The letter is about the nightlife that rules the night
that I saw while delivering the letter guys standing on the
corner at three in the morning with a 40 ounce now as
I have gotten older it seems
like I am the guy with the 40 ounce standing on the corner
kind of like a gang

And of course all dogs are "Underneath the moon"
I remember a movie with a guy standing at the top
of the steps on a staircase in front of his house waving
a trashcan lid at some dogs that were trying to get to him
saying under his breath "dogs are underneath the moon"
I think it was amazing stories the one where the guy has the magic
remote that changes his family members into movie or tv stars

the lyric "ever watch them go, In to town when the sun goes down"
really does not fit but I wrote that part maybe something like
dogs are nocturnal

maybe now we can talk about my letters that were used for nirvana songs
