Dave Navarro Is getting tattooed on the first new episode - and whether you're a fan or not, I must say that this tattoo was pretty F*CKING INTENSE!
I had no clue how beautiful his mother was - she was a model/actress back in the day - BUT what I also didn't know, was how tragically she was murdered ...
Dave had mentioned to me on several occasions how he wanted to get this tattoo for his mom - and when the day finally came, I was completely blown away on his story and my perception of Dave was totally changed... I cannot wait to share this moment with you guys, if you get a chance to catch this episode.

did you catch the show tvrec?anyone see the show?
I did,for some reason it kind of bored me.....
I guess I was hoping the whole show was going to be about Dave
lol

Daves mom was Beautiful!!!!
I was thinking about what a connection Perry and Dave must have with both loosing their moms at such an eairly age and so tragically.I read somewhere, that before they would play "then she did" Dave would tell perry "this is for our moms"

I didn't get to watch it. (no cable)
I'm surprised Dave waited so long to get a tattoo of his Mom.
He's been known for inking himself with the people, places, and things in his life.
It just seems weird that he'd wait so long to honor his Mom this way.
Maybe it was still just to painful?

I think your right NS,the fact that he has waited so long shows how important it is to him.
im surprized Perry dont have more tats
I think my next tat will be a portrait of Perry on my shoulder.

Well, he has the name of her tattooed for a long time already.
Anyway, you can watch the episode where he gets the new tatt of his mom on the Spread you tube channel, btw its the most beautiful tatt ever i think

I guess I had a brain fart when I posted that but he's had her name "Constance" on his lower back for years.

I saw it a while back and thought it was pretty cool.
Dave's Mom was very pretty.

Kat Von D: "I tattooed this portrait of his mom actually on his ribs. I've known Dave for quite some time and he's always been a nice guy. His mom was murdered when he was 15 years old by one of her ex-boyfriends. She was beautiful actress/model from back in the day and her death really caused a lot of mental issues for Dave. He's pretty open about it. He really tried to channel a lot of that negative energy into his music and it's a big part of who he is today. For me, I felt like we became a lot closer after that tattoo. It's nuts, but they caught the killer on 'America's Most Wanted.'"
