Huge apologies for the delay in getting this posted.

I wish I wasn't so tired when I got home from the show the other night.
All my thoughts were racing around in my head when I walked in the door but...
Well it was 2:00AM and I get up at 4:30AM for work.
I scribbled down a few notes and off to bed I went.
Those notes:
General admission rocks.
Perry's voice was in great shape and he sounded awesome.
Etty killed on Twilight.
Got to hear The Solutionists live!
Nick broke out a bow.
Setlist:
Go All The Way (Into The Twilight)
I Like em Big
Trouble
Nasty Little Perv
The Solutionists (AKA Revolution Solution)
Tahitian Moon
Stop!
Here's my review of the show / the evening's festivities.
The crew hydro, Mr. T, mothra665, Mrs. C, and myself arrive early still not knowing exactly what's up.
After a trip to will call to pick up passes ends with the very pleasant ticket counter lady telling us to "Stop back after their set. They're going on in 10 minutes." we make our way to the floor.
General admission rocks.
Well it does doesn't it?
I've found over the years that if you're with a pretty girl you can go pretty much anywhere at a GA show.
Tonight was no different.
I follow closely behind hydro and Mrs. C stopping occasionally to say sorry, excuse me.
A minute or two later and we're right down in front of the barricade.
Nick Maybury (of Mink fame) is making last minute preparations.
Etty killed on Twilight.
They opened with Twilight and as hydro said it was the perfect choice.
I like to people watch at shows and looking back at the crowd I saw dozens of folks younger than myself head bobbing and singing along.
This track IMO is a true duet between Perry and Etty.
They compliment one another so well here and seem to draw energy from one another.
I loved it when they got in one another's faces and sang.
Etty was especially fierce and confident on this track.
She just killed her lines.
Got to hear The Solutionists live!
This is one of my favorite tracks from the Satellite Party CD.
I've seen Satellite Party several times and this was the first time I got to hear them do it live!
Sure I got to see Perry join Thievery Corporation at Lolla a few years back but this was different.
I sang along to the whole song and didn't miss a beat.
Perry Etty and Nick kicked major ass on this track and so did the beat box / PC thing Perry was fucking with.
It was a great choice for the evening considering the night's message / purpose.
Nick broke out a bow.
I'll admit I'm a huge Zep head, so seeing anyone playing a guitar with a bow is like cool.
I should try it sometime.
Tahitian Moon is such a beautiful story type song and it doesn't matter how it's done.
It's just such a great song that you can play it anyway, acoustic, electric, beat box style.
It doesn't matter.
It transcends it's medium and hits home.
This song really got the crowd into it.
Like I said earlier I like to watch people and all of them my age were singing right along.
Perry's voice was in great shape and he sounded awesome.
Let's face it this is what I went to the show for.
It's what attracted me to Jane's in the first place.
At least a big part of it.
Perry doesn't scream as much as he used to in the late eighties / early nineties but god damn the mans voice is still so fucking good.
It was really good at the most recent Satellite Party shows I attended but tonight it was just smoking.
The thing is maybe Perry has just changed his singing style a bit.
Like I said it's less screaming now.
I dunno, Jane's were compared to Zeppelin constantly back in the day and Perry to one Mr. Robert Plant.
You don't hear Robert sing / screaming like he used to do you?
Regardless, Perry's voice was just so "on".
Like a angel on steroids.
As for the other songs I haven't really reviewed.
I gotta say it was great to see / hear them in person.
The Hotel Cafe clips are great but they were much better in person.
And Stop!, god damn!
Could they really have picked a better song for the night's event.
I mean really.
The world is loaded as the song goes.
