Do you have some sort of information regarding Eric's feelings about "Of Course"? I have no indication that he dislikes the song. Why Eric did not record the bass part on RDLH is a mystery to me, but I've always assumed it had something to do with either the special bouncing bass sound that they thought was required, or with some problem getting along on a personal level - not that he didn't like it.

"Of Course" was fantastic when I saw it live, and though I don't have a recording of that particular show, the mind-melting version from the well-known Irvine Meadows show of July 24 1991 is a close approximation.

It will always be a problem that it requires an additional instrument, but I think it would be excellent in restoring the band's roots in art music. They'd sometimes use Morgan on Then She Did, and even Classic Girl. Maybe for some special occasion they could hire a local fiddle player, and really blow some minds.

This would be a great find if anyone has it...Years ago..summer 96 Porno played irving plaza in NYC and the next dau had a press conference about Enit..Pete and Perry played an acoustic Bali Eyes. I remember this was on one of the sites back then..Anyone have it?
