neither dave nor eric wrote a word about it on their board for a while... i hope they are rehearsing hard and though writing new material. i can't imagine advanced musicians playing the same 25 songs again and again without any boredom

No, no news. Just angry rants I hear
from Eric Avery blog

maybe its just a figment of my imagination but it seems that iane's addiction are not on a unified front and not serious about their business.
how can we expect a solid, strong, powerful, unified, glorious, arrogant, sensual jane's when all of its members except for you are running off in different directions.
perkins has his glam band gigs, navarro has the tv show prep, perry is doing satellite party gigs. where is there time for a full unified effort?
i want to see a full time 110% jane's, not a part time 35% jane's. its sad to say but my expectations from you guys were much much higher than this

Damn, people think we control their lives.

On xiola they mentioned a Jane's/NIN co-headlining tour. That would be a little nuts.

The NIN fans didn't seem too thrilled about Love & Rockets opening for NIN at Lolla last year. Not sure their audience will go for Jane's either. Who knows though, I could be wrong. We'll have to wait and see

Actually the rumor at Xiola is that there's a show planned. A tour doesn't seem to be confirmed, yet.

Is there any chance that they play clubs? Or does NIN sell a lot these days?

We’re beginning to realize that our very favorite part of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is the anticipation of the lineup: the wild internet rumors, the speculation, the wish lists, the leaks and the people who go to the trouble to make up fake posters with outlandish lineups just to mess with people’s minds.

It’s all the excitement of actually being there, but without the heat and the walking.

After begging our Goldenvoice source for enough of a hint to give us something to think about, we were told of one absolutely iron-clad, definite, guaranteed act…

Drumroll, please:

Perry Farrell.

Smarty-pants source. Perry (pictured) is always at Coachella. As in every single one of its previous nine years — either with his own band, as a DJ or as part of a Jane’s Addiction reunion. It would only be news if Perry weren’t going to be there.

Oh well. That’s one confirmation, anyway.
