I'm pretty stoked about getting to hear a new recording from the OG line-up myself.

This makes the third or fourth one I've flushed out since I started doing work on the tour dates and it never ceases to amaze me what's lurking out there to be found.

The guy who recorded this show (Jim) says it "sounds terrible" but I guess we'll all hear for ourselves soon.

I just got a message from Jim and this show is in the mail!
I guess I misunderstood him and it turns out this is a SBD recording and not an audience recording.
So I don't further confuse things this is what he had to say.

Hi Michael,

I finally got the disc in the mail to you today. The recording came from a friend of mine who was friends with the guy running the soundboard. The recording is good, but the mix isn't (the symbols are way to high in the mix).

One of the best parts of the show occurred during Pigs In Zen when Perry says, "So this is where REM comes from?" At that point half the crowd applauded. Then he says, "I don't give a f**k." And the other half applauded. A classic moment indeed.

Anyway, I forgot to include a track listing so here it is:

It's just dumb luck on my part that this stuff falls into my lap as a result of tour dates work I do.

The symbols are very annoying as Jim said but I'm still enjoying the recording.
You can EQ them down some but they are still omnipresent to the point of distraction at times.

Bobhaus is blowing me away at the moment.
I love the way Perry sings the beginning part on this tune.

I'm working on some EAC tweaks and as soon as I finish up I'm going to rip, flac, zip, and upload.
