1988.11.13 The 7th Day at The Gaslight - Perry/Poetry
I still need to figure out a few details but this is a new poetry reading for Perry's gig listing.
I found the L.A. Weekly pics on myspace.

The date in the lower right hand corner looks like November 11th to me and based on that and the info contained in the story the date for this show is November 13, 1988.

Very nice, I'm glad you look for this shit because you know there aren't any other fans, including myself(hate to say it) that would look for stuff like this. Keep it up, nobody seems to appreciate it but I do, I'm just so focused on recordings that I never get to tell you how much I appreciate what you do. I wish there was a recording of this show.

Awe, thanks guys!
I've said it before but it's worth saying again, the truth is I really enjoy digging for and finding these lost shows and the info on them. It doesn't really matter to me if it matters to anyone else. It's just a fun sort of hobby for me that the Jane's community benefits from to some degree.
I got all the thanks / praise I'll ever need backstage after the Jacobs Pavilion show anyway.

Here’s an upgrade of the LA weekly photo posted above. It turns out I was correct as far as the date of the LA Weekly is concerned.
Article taken from the LA weekly dated November 11-17, 1988
