Chaney's in for NYE. Everyone just relax.....

I don't post much,but I just want to say something. First remember that for Eric to continue as a member(I feel) when things like this come up there needs to be some give and take. He is married and maybe he and his girl want to chill or have plans for that night. It's obvious some fat cat in Aspen is throwing some serious cash at them to play such a small venue on NYE. Too much to pass on I'm sure. Perry and Perk spend alot of time there during the year(Banyan, snowboarding, ect....)nice place for NYE with friends and family. So because Eric wants to do something else they should'nt play as Jane's Addiction? Secondly, Eric A. and Chris Chaney are friends (Chris played on Eric's solo record) according to Dave, Eric's cool with this and will continue to be with Jane's in Austrialia in 2010. Everyone ( in the band)loves Cheney and I'm sure he could use this one night payout. I think we can all agree that no one can replace Eric's sound, but for this little venue it will be cool and Chris knows the songs. I say do whatever it takes to keep these guys together for some possible studio work and shows next year. I feel they are showing some flexabiltiy with this and things are going to be just fine.
