A Cabinet Of Curiosities

Post by Mike »

Has anyone else reconstructed the Nothing's Shocking track list using the demos on disc one and Ted from disc two?

It's a really fun listen.

Glad you liked it scabdates.
It is as you said a really cool alternative.

Prior to the Box Set coming out I used to do the same thing with my Song List and Paraphernalia boots but I was missing Ted.

I wish we had demos of Obvious, Then She Did, and Of Course so I could do the same with Ritual.

I know! At least we have the premaster, haven't taken time to notice how different they are. Three of my favorite songs, too.

Are you talking about the one with the following track listing and track times?

01.Three Days 10:55
02.Ain't No Right 2:45
03.Obvious 5:59
04.Then She Did 8:21
05.Been Caught Stealing 3:26
06.Of Course 7:05
07.No One's Leaving 3:02
08.Classic Girl 5:00
09.Stop! 3:59

If so it has been a while since I listened to it but I don't remember it being different.
I'll give it another listen and see if I notice anything.

I seem to recall there being a lot of tape hiss on this?

I still haven't gotten around to a comparison listen.
I'll try and make some time later this week but I've been busy.

I just noticed when I opened up the folder these are in that Then She Did is miss-titled The She Did.

It's missing the n in then.

Anyway I just want to make sure that we're talking about the same tracks that redplum uploaded at www.janesaddiction.org back in March of 2008 or so.
