In the mix I can not hear bass guitar but Perry scream it sound wild. Studio...I can hope he drench the monotone quiet voice in the psykadelic fx. This one sound done by Dave Navarro and Perry. This is true, no?

Re: Soulmate
here is another video

there is DEFINITELY audio of this show, and hopefully it will be available soon
I'm digging the new stuff - definitely some great potential there. They played another song, I believe they said it was called "Broken People" during soundcheck that I thought was even better.
Duff is gelling great with the band. Dan Cleary even reminded us that Duff, even tho he was in GnR who was part of the hair-metal scene in a way, really has a bit more of a punk background musically. Regardless, as much as I love Eric Avery, Duff has proven to me that is a natural choice to fill in such an important roll in Jane's Addiction.

O wait never mind that's me.

That sounds pretty damn good.
I can't wait to get my recording on some decent size speakers tomorrow.
I got back into town to late tonight and would have woke up the neighbors.

Re: Soulmate
OK so Dave confirmed the title on this one and it's Another Soul Mate vs Soul Mate.

Nice!
I will admit, I've put off listening to this as long as possible because I was enjoying being excited about the prospect of new Jane's... and I was worried actually HEARING new Jane's would be a buzzkill if I didn't like it.
It's so hard to tell the quality of a song by a live audience recording, but what I've heard here makes me excited to hear more
