Thanks Erik, I am curious to know what makes Broken People sound less like strays and more like the early vintage Jane's.

I guess I'd say its darker subject matter and as Erik previously posted its artsy sound and feel.
Hopefully the Direct TV broadcast will be soon and you'll be able to decide for yourself.

It was a lot different acoustic vs electric though and each way benefited the song differently.

Yeah, it is both - lyrically and musically. Plus the two times we heard it were in more raw format, giving it that "rough around the edges" sound that was really missing from Strays.

I just read your post and what you said about Strays is almost word for word what my buddy said about it today.
I played my Danish promo for him while he was here today and he was blown away.
Matter of fact he popped it in his laptop and burned himself a copy to take home with him.

Acoustic and Electric, Broken People. If they can be smart We can hear it both the ways.
