I had a great time watching it, but I wish I could have easily put it up on my TV. Probably a good thing my girlfriend wasn't home to see me geek out on my couch like I did.
Can you tell me the time of this splice you're talking about?drifter wrote:yall were lucky enough to see it twice while some of us only saw it the second time. you can see the spice of the two versions by the way perry holds his mike
What are you talking about? If you are implying that they spliced together soundcheck footage and live footage, you're wrong. They didn't film the soundcheck, and you can clearly see Perry's mic hand changes:drifter wrote:yall were lucky enough to see it twice while some of us only saw it the second time. you can see the spice of the two versions by the way perry holds his mike
That's the important part.drifter wrote:i love watching this.

No need to hide.drifter wrote:at 2:49 he does change his grip
at 3:07 it goes to a b & w where hes not facing the camera but is singing to crowd holding the mike different so that threw me and at 3:13 theres still echo while hes looking at perky but at the last millisecond of that shot he changed hands back
and another thing that threw me was the cool wide angle of the band at 1:39. from where i was standing by the stairs the crowd was all around. i didnt see that much space infront of the guys.
anyway, ill shut up now. going back and forth looking at this made me realize the editing is really great![]()
