What are Satellite Party's plans for the New Year?

Post by Mike »

About all we know is the wait for the debut disc will finally be over.
They will most likely play Lollapalooza this summer.
But what other things do Perry and crew have in store for us?
I would love to see this band in a small intimate venue.
When I asked Perry this past summer he left me with the impression they will tour.
This is something that I'm really looking forward to!

Satellite Party are scheduled to perform at Winter X-Games in Aspen Colorado, January 25 - 28, 2007.... :) ...
I read from various blog that next album will include also "Insanity rains"...

Sounds like a good time- SP and skiing/snowboarding!

If the album comes out in March, maybe a Spring tour? I hope they play lots of "warm-up" shows prior to the release though.

Just in general- but I see what you mean...
Ya know what would be cool? Shows at various Observatories/Planetariums across the US! I was at the Griffith Park Observatory yesterday and I thought "this would be a great place for a SP flash mob, or organized show." Lots of satellite/telescope/intergalactic images...

StickyFingers, I forgot all about the Winter X-Games.
That should be a great time for everyone out in Colorado.

vikkivale, Satellite Party at a Observatory or Planetarium would be the bomb!

Hi Andrew 125,

I was just kidding about the warmup shows, they'll most likely be in LA though. Maybe Perry can play in the Arch, haha. All 20 people or whatever can fit in top of it.
