Dave Navarro Interview w/ "Talking Metal"

Post by Mike »

There's a great interview with Dave up on Talking Metal.
He talks about a bunch of stuff including Jane's, his love of metal, and his new signature guitar.

Cool stuff, check it out here  http://www.talkingmetal.com/2010/index2.htm

Cheers Mike. Listening now. Everything else can wait.

I expected a little more news but it was cool hearing his love of early Maiden. Nothing really new that hasn't already been said about his sig acoustic.

I was listening to this interview again this afternoon and caught some important info I missed my first listen.
According to Dave the new record is still scheduled for release in early 2011.
This at least to my ears is the best news we've gotten out of the Jane's camp in some time.

Yeah the Maiden talk is always welcome in my book.
I've been a fan of them since long before Jane's came along.
Dave cracked me up when he was talking about "shredding" too.
I doubt it would ever happen but I'd like to hear Dave do a Maiden cover or medley of their tunes.
I wonder if he and the guys in Camp Freddy have ever covered them?

As far as I know don't think he's ever touched the Maiden catalogue live. Yeah, I got into them way back as well.
