Re: "End To The Lies"
id have to agree. I wasnt very excited about Duff being apart of JA..I was trying to be optimistic but it actually made me feel a lil ill lol im sure with Duff we would of got more of a mainstream straight up rock record, nothing personal but that's just his style and im sure he does it well. He is just not a good match for the boys. I am happy Jane's is trying to fulfill their own creative nature and the creative minds of their fans and not the wannabe fans who have no clue as to what makes this band so sacred and unique. as long as they always remember their roots and stem from there im a happy girl.Keep it creative, meaningful and deep!I think the whole thing with EA pushed them to the edge and created that artistic spark that lit their fire again.Pissed em off enough to wanna prove the haters wrongdanhans wrote: Hearing this makes me glad that Duff left coz with him attached it wasnt looking too good really was it?

I find I write my best poem's out of feelings of anger or hurt.

Perry sounds a tad like Ozzy in the chorus.

Re: "End To The Lies"
My fav part is where Dave comes with the slide and riffs a bit...kinda zeppelinish PG...I like his (Perry) goth tone on the End to the lies too Hydro...but it is kinda ozzy in parts...not that thats bad...I wish they woulda put that little guitar hook in there again
...sounds good against stephens alwayz awesome drumming....I think we might have much more goodies to come

Re: "End To The Lies"
I dig it, hell as long as the creativity is flowing and a "real studio" track has made it out makes me pleased.
Hearing muffled live versions of songs in the works [Broken & Soul] were bumming me out.
Fnally something from the studio shows that maybe there is hope for at least 40+ minutes more of art that we'll hear soon!?
F*CK, if "it" compares to the "Strays" demos, that would be good enough for me!
Keep 'em coming, I'm getting tired of buying these Pearl Jam 20th whatevers and Soundgarden live leftovers.
If I may quote MC5:
"Kick out the jams motherf*ckers!,
You gotta have it baby
You can't do without
When you get that feeling
You gotta sock'em out
Put that mike in my hand
And let me kick out the jam
Yes! Kick out the jams
I want to kick'em out!"
...something like that

To spunky, no I don't think that anybody has figured out the second half of that lyric. Other people have asked. I think up through "when I was down, but now" is right. After that I couldn't tell you.
