I liked it before, and I expected to continue enjoying it with this official release. Unfortunately I hate this version. If this mix/mastering is indicative of the sound of the album, it's not an album I'm going to be listening to. I'm afraid that the low bit rate can't be blamed for all of the issues. I hope that fans can somehow get a decent copy of the earlier mix.

jasper are you always crying about everything? Its an excellent mix of the song!!
OK, now that my anger has subsided, I'm wondering if anybody was able to figure out the missing lyrics on this version, because it's still irking me.
I think we can all agree about "He thought he knew me back in the day, when I was down, but now it's..." right? That seems pretty clear. I kinda think it's possible that the next word was "him," as in "when I was down but now it's him __________." Maybe?

Jasper is, in fact, one of the most level headed and thoughtful about his opinions on this board and xiola. That's why I'm disappointed that he hates this mix so much. I think your accusations of him crying all the time is ridiculous. I do like the song but I think I have a propensity to love everything they do as soon as it comes out only to find myself turned off by it when the cloud of hyper positivism vanishes. Such is my relationship with everything post GGU. I'm trying to keep that in mind though and think that I am honestly excited about their new music. Who knows though, I may change my mind by this time next year.
