I'm a little confused as to where the episode of Dark Matter is. I followed the link, but it was some other show. I did a search of the site, and some Dark Matter results came up, but they were all about 4-6 months old. Did they take it away, or am I missing something really obvious?

Hey Jasper, follow this link:

http://www.justin.tv/moheakradio/b/283645258

You will see in the upper right that you're watching part 2.
I know it's a bit confusing but it's just how they post all of their shows I guess.

Anyway grab the slider and fast forward to an hour and twenty minutes in.
You'll have to click "part 3" to checkout the rest of the show.

I hope that helps.

Edit: I type so slow hydro beat me to it. :)

Also wanted to add since this thread if for "End To The Lies" if that's all you're wanting to checkout go to:

http://www.justin.tv/moheakradio/b/283647666

Fast forward to four minutes ten seconds in.

They talk about the in studio video and then play the track.

Ah jeez, I thought that the problem might be user-end, and it was...I read 1:20 as minutes, not hours. Thanks for giving me the special assistance that I apparently need.

Yeah, so, I am short on time right now, but I'll just note one quick thing that jumped out at me about this version; at about 8:45 (in minutes, on the second link Mike just posted) Perry sings "You were the foreskin," and instead of finishing the line, "skin" goes into delay, and repeats in that old-school ascending pitch manner that makes it sound like the word is melting. On the officially released mix it went into the delay thing on "skin" (at about 2:05), but it was just regular delay with the same pitch, speed, etc.

...and I would be surprised if that ascending pitch remains in the final, final cut... it sounds ridiculous. To me the mix sounds a little better, more depth, more range, more space.

Is there a way to hear this playback? The podcasts on itunes aren't up to date. I listened to one a few weeks ago and it was mildly entertaining. I am now sitting here at work trying to find something to listen to.
Hope ya found it ;) ...Thanx to Mike I betcha did.....I havent had a chance to go back and listen....better mix dude?...anywayz  ...Seth is a true artist....I so respect what you have to say man
Wow. Very flattered. Made my day. Not sure what I did to deserve such affirmation, but I'll take it! My opinion? Sounds better. See my comment above. I like the song. I like the direction they are taking, but they will never occupy the prestige they ever held in my "formative" years. I don't think they can ever be relevant to any qualified degree at this point. I just want them to have fun, create some great sonic atmosphere and give us all a chance to step back and relive some of that excitement that we associated with Jane's. At the end of the day though, for me at this point in my life, they're just a band writing another rock album. I'm prepared to "cope" with disappointment in the album and in their behavior, but if feels good to have another album on the way.

Oh come on, Seth, you earned it by making rad abstract art. Stop it with the false modesty!

btw, I guess descending pitch would have been the accurate way to describe the delay on Perry's vox, but, you know, in the end they're both...'scending.

I'll see if I can do something with it.
I downloaded the podcast and the bit rate is really low (64kbps).
I wanna see if I can grab the audio from the podcast.
