1987 POSTER SIZE LIVE LP COVER ART

hi there:

i've been lucky enough to find a really cool poster of the 1987 JA live album. it's crazy...it's huge and hangs vertically, but the format is still 'album', which kind of doesn't make sense to me.

anyway, i'm thinking about giving it to a friend of mine that lives in japan but when i look it up, i can't seem to find the value as i don't see this artwork in any format other than as the LP.

anyone know why, or what it's worth?

again, i've always loved the image (and the album) but don't want to blow it by not insuring it for enough, if something happens to it en route (unfortunately, always a possibility...)

I'm not sure if I still have them somewhere, but by 1990 I managed to have a gigantic poster of each album cover. I don't know the actual size, but they're rectangular and they might be around six feet tall. Is this what we're talking about? I've got:

I'm not sure where all of this stuff is. Somewhere I've got those cardboard mock LPs that they'd hang in record store windows for new releases. I've got the Deadicated one and the first P4P album. I'm not a collector of this type of stuff, so if I didn't get it when it first appeared, I don't have it, which makes me feel very attached to it--even if I don't know where most of it is at any given time.

i had the poster of turin big club concert 1991 on the wall for many years and i thrown away during a day of housecleaning cause it had some damage. This is one of the worst thing i did in my life!!!! I can not say how sorry I am and what I would do to get it back !!!!!!!!!

Hi Audry, welcome to the site.

I'm not sure I know exactly which poster you're talking about but it sounds as though you mean something similar to this one.



Can you describe what is different or better yet take a picture of it?
Perhaps give us an exact measurement?

As with anything it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it but if it's something really rare it could be worth a pile of money to a collector.

I don't think insurance is to much and if you put it in a nice tube it should arrive safely.

I've seen one like it sell there in the last year or two.
I hope you can track one down.

man back in collage i had the rev cover of perry of course not w/rev on it it was like 6x6 ft.my girlfriend back then snagged it for me out of nyc....and boy it got wasted just from moving around....tho were the days...

yes Mike is this! of course!! but it hadn't the part below the band cause it was broken up pulling off by the wall! Thanks for the suggest: i could think about to searching for and buying it but i'm sure that it would not be the same!! Sometimes I wonder why some mistakes are made...
