what was the vibe like over there, any different then shows over here. I've never seen a show outside the US, just wondering if the crowd was any different. I know kinda a stupid question.

I've got two different versions of this show on DVD.
One is the pro-shot version that was shown on MTV Italy and the other is an audience tripod shot.
In addiction I've got it on a couple of boots and although the sound quality is A+ and the performance is great it has always seemed like a very boring show to me.

I don't know if the guys were just in a zone or zoned out of their minds but there's hardly any between song banter and it just seems so business like to me.

I guess the reason for my post is I too am curious what it was like at the venue that night?

i gotta agree with this..ive always thought the Milan show kinda sucked. perrys voice seems really shot and its one of the onlytimes i can think of where he actually makes the band sound bad in places. there are moments when its cool, but for the most part, i stay away from multiple viewing here. i seriously think the Hammerstein show from 1997 w Flea is the best show ive ever HEARD from them. maybe seattle '90 december too..just my opinion though.

I was at both Hammerstein shows in 97 and they were unreal. The Halloween night show, which was on Mtv was completely crazy. The energy level from the band and the crowd was so cool. The entire floor was a pit everyone just going crazy. The music was good they seemed like a well oiled machine. First time I show them was spring of '91 in Dayton Ohio, that was also a very good show. Probably the best I've seen with the original band.

I've always liked the sound of the Milan show, but always wonder what state of mind Perry was in.
