Ted Gardner has managed some of the world's biggest acts, including Frank Zappa, Jane's Addiction and Men at Work...
The last time Ted came to the Territory, it was 1983...
Men at Work were touring...They were riding high on their smash hit "Down Under".
And Ted Gardner was right there with them.
Ted has had an incredible career in the music industry. He went to the US, where he worked with bands including Frank Zappa, Jane's Addiction, Tool, The Sugar Cubes, New Order, Queens of the Stone Age and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
He was also one of the cofounders of the American music festival Lollapalooza.
And now he's back in Australia, where he runs Cross Section Management and Records.
Ted is in the Territory this week for Music NT's Intune conference, sharing his wisdom with our own up and coming musos.

Yeah it is and even though he makes a mistake or two it's still so cool to hear in his words how he remembers things.
For my money it's one of the most interesting Jane's related interviews to pop up in quite a while.
